Since I was a child, being a helper came naturally. Holding space has always been second nature—something quietly woven into who I am. I offer a calm, nonjudgmental presence where others feel safe to open up, be seen, and be held.
Today, I walk this path as a birth and postpartum doula with reverence, intuition, and joy. My work is grounded in the belief that every person deserves to feel supported, empowered, and honored as they bring life into the world. I’m here to help you feel safe in your body, connected to your inner wisdom, and gently held through every threshold of this sacred journey.
My path has woven together healing, intuition, and advocacy—each thread guiding me to this work. I continue to deepen my skills and remain committed to lifelong learning as a birth doula and childbirth educator. It is my honor to offer presence, knowledge, and unwavering care as you move through one of life’s most transformative experiences.
I was born in the Dominican Republic and now live in Berkeley, California, on the unceded ancestral land of the Chochenyo-speaking Ohlone people. I offer this acknowledgment with deep respect and gratitude to the original stewards of this land.
Becoming a mother to two incredible humans changed everything for me. It awakened a deeper awareness of the emotional and generational patterns we carry—and the sacred responsibility we have to transform them. I knew I didn’t want to pass on the trauma I had experienced, so I committed to a path of healing and self-discovery.
This journey led me to the Luminous Awareness Institute, where I spent four years immersed in an integrative energy and trauma-based program. There, I studied attachment, nervous system regulation, and the innate gifts that live within each of us. My passion for inner work and authentic connection continued to expand, guiding me to become a certified spiritual hypnotherapist through the HCH Institute.
During the stillness of the COVID era, my relationship with nature deepened in profound ways. I began to experience the natural world as a mirror and a medicine—offering rhythms, stillness, and renewal when so much else felt uncertain. Tending to plants became a daily ritual of care and connection. I explored the ancient art of natural dyeing, and what started as a personal practice soon blossomed into a small business—sharing the magic of plant-based color.
Nature reminded me that healing doesn’t always come in big moments—it often arrives slowly, through quiet attention and rooted presence. Around that same time, I also immersed myself in The Language of Emotions, discovering how our feelings carry potent messages when we learn to listen with compassion and curiosity.
Along the way, I worked as a job coach at East Bay Innovations, supporting young adults with disabilities as they cultivated independence and confidence. But it was a vivid dream—one where I was supporting someone in labor—that clarified my path with striking clarity. It felt more like a memory than a dream, as if birth work had always lived in me.
The very next day, I began looking into doula training programs. The search felt daunting—until, by pure synchronicity, I crossed paths with an old friend who had become a midwife. She introduced me to Hospital Friendly Doulas, and the path opened wide. This program changed my life. I received my doula training and dedicated 100+ hours of volunteer work, supporting laboring people from all walks of life. Through this hands-on experience, I learned what it truly means to advocate for a laboring person, hold space, integrate partners into the process, and meet each family exactly where they are—with deep presence, trust, and breath-by-breath support.
Thank you for your sharing the inspiring work you do in this world to uplift & empower us all.
